Kate’s career spans a diverse range of work including contemporary dance, opera, theatre, musicals and outdoor arts. Highlights include: The Dancing Room for BBC2, Undivided Loves for Phoenix Dance; the original Les Miserables, Umbrellas of Cherbourg, and Fiddler on the Roof (West End); Three Sisters, Dreamplay, Albert Speer, Pains of Youth (NT); Dr Faustus , T’is Pity She’s a Whore (YV); Onegin (WNO), Turandot, Wiliam Tell, Aida, (ROH); Peter Grimes, Gloriana (Opera North). Weathermen, Step Ladder and a Goat were recent creations for Outdoor Arts presentation. She is a Churchill and Rayne Choreographic Fellow, and highly experienced researcher, teacher and mentor within dance, opera and theatre.
